Random conversations with the parents
The other day, my dad randomly asked:
Eh, Yanita how?
Me: LOL! She went for exchange already-lah... (insert country here)
And because he was driving, I don't think he heard the location very clearly
Few mins later,
Eh, eh... did u just say (insert country here) or Australia???
Yes, daddy, believe it! She didn't go to Aussie, she went somewhere further. If I were to follow her, I would have planned WAY earlier, okay??? Duh... not like just suka2 boleh pergi aja without following all the necessary steps/procedure.
So, that was conversation no. 1.
Conversation no. 2 was started off by my MUM
Wah, why Azree can comment on ur status one??? (FB)
Kan aku dah cakap, he likes to kacau me-lahhhhhhh....because I'm nice (I think). That is why I say: I'm sooooo paisehhhhhh - lah, wei... ever since my "journey" kat sekolah.
Why did we ever have to bump into each other at Sun-U???
Cuz God wanted to give him another chance to kacau me
Heh.
How annoying but nevermind-lah... cuz nobody else will annoy me the way he does...
Come to think of it, I do the same thing, too (on FB now). It's just that HE started it 5 years ago :P
So, there you have it, MUM. He is my ever amazing schoolmate who likes to distract me.
Hmm... it feels like my parents miss them MORE than me. LOL.
It's okay, people, you both will forever be remembered by your cute friend =)

Because I was too free
... I went to Google and searched for quotes...
and this one caught my attention.
There are two barriers that often prevent communication between the young and their elders. The first is middle-aged forgetfulness of the fact that they themselves are no longer young. The second is youthful ignorance of the fact that the middle aged are still alive.

Jessamyn West
Now that I've found this quote, we all know why it's (extremely) difficult to talk to our parents
