One minute the internet connection is super duper good :)
Suddenly, I'm disconnected.
Then there's this whole thing about waiting for the webpage to load. Dunno if it's the server's fault or what. Cause' one minute I can just happily download and print my notes. Next time you log in, there'd be several errors occurring for some reason.
This has been happening for days already. I just thank God I bought my textbooks otherwise I'd probably have to wait until I'm 95 years old. :P How am I to go on waiting??? Plus, I take some time to digest the facts mah... Don't tell me just print and chuck your notes away??? Maybe in secondary school if you did that, then you would still survive because of the spoon-feeding system... but hello??? At degree level, you're supposed to be on your own already.
Is it Firefox? My lousy connection??? Been logging in to the Monash portal for like 6 times today just to retrieve my lec notes. And it's 6 times TODAY. What abt tomorrow???
Hmm... I really need a better plan... Someone rescue me.

Don't stop 'til you get enough
Gosh, "Will You be There (Hold Me)" is stuck in my head now. Jennifer Hudson did a good job. Of course, nobody can beat MJ.Sad eh, only after he is gone, everyone rushes to the record store and gets all his albums. Suddenly, everyone(myself included) is listening to his songs once again.
Maybe he was right in his song "Don't stop 'til you get enough''. Problem is ENOUGH is never enough.
I remember when he came up with "Earth Song" I used to wonder:-
What on Earth is he doing in the music video, screaming like mad????
As I grew up I realised that it was his style that made him stand out from other pop stars .And those days I used to think how nice if I could be like him(perhaps everyone else had similar thoughts)
1996 was the year I was brought on to stage by my electone teacher. That was the time I started getting into his dance moves. Haha... god... we were dancing and singing to Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love of All" and not one of MJ's masterpieces but still there was that urge to be so very perfect like him :)
Like him, I enjoyed being on stage (well, at least until 1999 or 2000) You know, dancing for me was a challenge of course. :) My teacher used to be super duper strict and now when I think back, it was pressurising as hell.

Was TRYING hard to stay away from blogging cuz staring at the computer screen is damaging to ur eyesight but... Shiang Horng's efficiency (and some of the rest) in tagging me on FB made me do what I'm doing now. LOL.

Finally after waiting for so long...
Well, as in my previous post I said there was gonna be a reunion(and a farewell) for 5 Edison people. Kar Yan got my no. from someone else and texted me and hence I did the same for a few others.
Anyway, she said it was supposed to begin at about 6 pm but... as usual... Haha Kar Yan and Kwok Kher were fighting over who was supposed to book the table. God, without tables how to even sit nicely? But thank God we sat down and we got a table when the fight started :P Actually a few tables cuz there were 14 of us outta the 26 or 28 of us.
Only started ordering drinks at 7pm. Who's fault??? Vi Yi and Helena lor... we were waiting for em until most of us felt like killing ourselves. Italiannies wasn't a good location. Laundry bar was having some kinda music festival and too bad... talking was TOUGH.
Guess what the two evil girls above only arrived at 8.40 pm. Some ppl cabutted way earlier.
OMGGGG... It was really ages since I last saw the rest of 5 Edison(esp those who dint cum for prom) Most of us still looked the same. Only WENG HONG had a different hairstyle. Oh, helena coloured her hair. Well, most of the guys matured.Hahaha... Too bad the BOYS and GALS were separated so I, livia and kelly felt a bit weird, not being able to catch what's going on the other side.
Wonder what's going on for the rest who didn't come.You all have to come next time, okay???
I told Livia my stories and she told me about her REAL Monash. Kelly, on the other hand had her share of One Academy stories. Kar Yan disturbed us for a while with her Taylor's ones and her good fren Pei Ling, who in the end didn't cum.
Sigh... Bottomline??? Everyone's majoring in different things right now.Most of em ended up in the Arts while some whom I didn't expect, ended up doing Medicine . And, it feels like I'm the only odd one out doing CIMP as my pre-u. LOL. At the end of the day, I'm happy I got into Monash. Hehe...

After that we(as in Kar Yan Yong Shiang Weng Hong Phang Yih Tsen Yi Vi Yi and Helena plus the three stooges- Fadzli, Kwok Kher and Shiang Horng) decided to go for 2nd round. Because Kwok Kher kept on asking me whether my parents were here, I ended up texting my mum. Sigh, he confused me. You know what? He thought I came back from Aussie.Hahaha... I haven't even decided if I WANT to go overseas and he assumed I went. In the end after much discussion, the 3 stooges decided to hang out at tmn tun mamak. Ish... so left the girls and 3 boys.
Thanks to Kwok Kher's questtion, my mum came. haih... it was getting boring anyway cuz a lot of ppl went home also. Itulah... Helena and Vi Yi so lambat baru datang.
Conclusion? It was nice to see the 5 Edison people, though not evryone came.

Lost and found
Guess what? I found my physio book. I know... like what the...
Okay, guess where it was???
Well, I for one am quite tempted to find the book all over the house. What I didn't expect was to find it somewhere in my stack of notes and books thanks to CIMP. Esp because I found it underneath my World Issues photostated notes. Yup, CIMPians who took this subj know how thick our notes used to be, right??? I actually tied them up, hoping NEVER to look at it in my entire life :)
Man, I'm DARN HAPPY :) :) :)

Once again, I am reflecting on the good old days
I remember being really nervous the moment I stepped into Sunway University College. Then, I told myself to BE MYSELF and VOILA I made my first two friends at orientation :) They were Yanita Ekayanti and Sylviana Kusmanto. Suddenly, I realised Sylvi was from a different course ie MUFY. To tell you the truth, I ALMOST ended up there because I aimed for Monash. :) I think I got scared after hearing how stressed BOTH Shiang Horng and Chris Teh were and that's why I thought I needed to think CIMP CIMP CIMP. Haha... Conclusion? I'm glad I didn't do MUFY because
Yanita ended up being my classmate for MDM4U ( Data Mgmt)
Azree was once again part of my life :)

Okay okay seriously... I did not LIKE the subj combinations in MUFY or any other pre-u course offered.
I think I needed a good break from being too much of a nerd xD
The coursework component was the major KILLER of the course, I almost died. Well, thanks to the CIMPians I survived. Thank you....

Till today, I can picture myself waiting for the people of the other class to get out so that I could go in. Or how I seemed so attached to the benches on 3rd floor cuz there's where I'd relax :) Or how speechless and stiff I was when Azree came with that lollipop...Trust me... I could have run over to pass him back the GREEN lollipop but then... as he left, I knew WHY cuz every single memory unfolded SLOWLY.
Or how much I and the rest complained whenever there was another presentation or major assignment. Or how much we felt like killing our world issues lecturer for shoving us with so much to read in such a short span of time.
Haha... If i were to be in CIMP again, I'd probably have to stay up late... the latest being 6 am. I'm serious. My dad would be scolding me and sending me up to my room.
Sigh... Just pray degree time, i won't have to sleep at the time my maid wakes up :P

Gowns and mortar boards???
From the title, I'm sure you can guess what is it that I'm gonna ramble about here in my blog. Okay, it is our CIMP graduation. Nothing really grand besides the photo-taking and all that. The people there who were in-charge of the gowns.... I have nothing to say. Those other graduates dunno how to use their eyes. They were like pushing around and I was really HOPING I didn't trip over or sth because you know, if I fall, it's no joke. Saying excuse me is like something foreign to them when some of them are actually ENG4U students. Haih... whatever la... they just don't care.
Oh yeah, thanks Suet Teng for teman-ing me until at least the inside of 4-17 where the hoo-ha was going on.
I forgot my stupid slip of paper(no slip, no deposit) but then again I was thinking HOW MANY THINGS would I have to carry in my hand? Expecting at least something huge to hold in my hand I ended up with:-
Devi's origami bird specially folded for me :)
The very blue cylinder that contained pieces of paper
and...
the leaflet showing their promotions of gowns plus photos and all that.
See?
Maybe I'm small-sized but I still think that gown isn't S-size. It's super huge more like L or even XL. It was bothering me from the very start of the speeches till the end of the ceremony. People were looking, I'm sure. :P
Thank goodness they didn't have mortar boards. They arranged us in ALPHA order in the lect theatre before going to the hall. So, you can imagine how long it took for me to get a place to sit (if u know my surname) What's more mr plouffe was like erm... (my name) can u sit in the next row??? Gah... kalau bkn pasal gaun itu kan...
Was brought to the hall and in between they were actually searching for Yanita. Haha... kenapalah kau tak datang???
Anyways, I was PRAYING HARD when I went up the stage.... because I was wearing FLATS and the gown was HUGE so anytime I made a WRONG step, I could just collapse. Because I couldn't wait to get off the stage, I went slightly faster and haha Mr Welch went: hang on hang on :) So, yeah, name announced...
I MADE IT :)
I walked up that stage :)
I heard voices. People were cheering for ME!!!!

Well, I thought I could just walk off the stage after receiving that BLUE cylinder container which contained papers inside. But, Mr Boucher caught me at the end of it all and gave me a HUG. I was completely clueless and blur about what happened after I received the BLUE thing that when he said he wanted to hug me I just went :- HUH????

Thank goodness they didn't have mortar boards. They arranged us in ALPHA order in the lect theatre before going to the hall. So, you can imagine how long it took for me to get a place to sit (if u know my surname) What's more mr plouffe was like erm... (my name) can u sit in the next row??? Gah... kalau bkn pasal gaun itu kan...
Was brought to the hall and in between they were actually searching for Yanita. Haha... kenapalah kau tak datang???
Anyways, I was PRAYING HARD when I went up the stage.... because I was wearing FLATS and the gown was HUGE so anytime I made a WRONG step, I could just collapse. Because I couldn't wait to get off the stage, I went slightly faster and haha Mr Welch went: hang on hang on :) So, yeah, name announced...

I walked up that stage :)
I heard voices. People were cheering for ME!!!!

Well, I thought I could just walk off the stage after receiving that BLUE cylinder container which contained papers inside. But, Mr Boucher caught me at the end of it all and gave me a HUG. I was completely clueless and blur about what happened after I received the BLUE thing that when he said he wanted to hug me I just went :- HUH????
