Say it isn't so, tell me you're not leaving

And so it seems, more and more people are leaving THE UNI. I don't have to say WHY.

First up, is Matt. [I kinda saw this coming but was never quite sure whether it was an exchange or a credit transfer.]  I still remember how we first met, or rather when we first met - at our course transition program.

If I am not wrong, we were instructed to go up to the library to so-call learn the art of looking up books in the library. So, as always, I took the lift up. The lift was about to close so I ran in. Thank GOD, some guy held the door for me. :)

And immediately, I turned around to say my thank you :) For some reason, he told me: Hey! I've seen you around in Sri KDU before... and in Sunway, too!

OMG OMG OMG OMG !!! WHY?! Was he stalking me? LOL! And to think that he actually recognized me back in the days without my SPECS????!!!

Well, yeah, I guess I did see him somewhere but just couldn't remember where. Heh.

The rest, as people always say, is history. :)

I am definitely going to MISS YOU, Matt.

For all the times we joked about characters in movies and/or TV series

For all the times you willingly held my hand up and down the lecture hall(s)

For all the times we discussed our past year exams and went bonkers about them last minute

For all the times we complained about... stuff

but most of all for being MR. NICE-GUY :)

Next, is Rachel L. This came as quite a shock as I thought... well, she was gonna continue her studies in the same UNI for GOOD but.... only GOD knows. Hmm, we were in the same tute for COM, I think. If I had to say something about her, it would be... that she had trouble keeping her mouth shut..... :P Forever talking, talking, and talking!!! OMG, man. At first, it was a little hard to handle her oh-so-extrovert personality but after a while, I learnt that she was quite a FUN person, too :) Her laughter, often funnier than the joke; her sense of humour, nobody could beat. Apart from being the OMG queen, a lot of us call her "the girl with sexy legs" :P (TM meeting jokes  FTW. Heh.)

Because of her, I told myself to join Toastmasters and truth be told, I had no regrets. As I grew slightly CLOSER to her, I've grown to like her :) And IF there's ONE thing that I'd never forget in my entire life is that night when you sent me back after our Toastmasters gathering (okay, erm up to Tropicana which is like what? 10-15 mins to my hse.) It was ONE HELL OF A RIDE! In my heart, I was thinking, damn, this girl... she's.... CRAZY! Half the time, I was PRAYING that we didn't collide or crash into other vehicles/cars. If my parents sat in her car, it would have been the FIRST and the LAST time they'd ever want to, because I swear.... like I said earlier, it was ONE HELL OF A RIDE! A ride that I wouldn't have experienced if not for her offering to send me back.

Even though after the ride, I felt like murdering her, you know I'd still have to thank her :)

We may not have known each other for very long but the things you've taught me, all that lame jokes & infectious laughter of yours, I will truly miss. Toastmasters meetings will never be the same without you. NO, REALLY. TOASTMASTERS WILL NEVER EVER BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU.

I still cannot believe you're leaving. Will probably take a while for this to sink in.

Sigh, but I guess, we have to learn to let go.

no matter how surreal it may seem,

two people who have left such an impact in my life - though I may not have been very VOCAL about it,

I'll have to let go with all my heart.

PS: If anyone else is leaving (and I know you from A-Z), let me know so I can TYPE a post about you :) :) :)
