Not particularly awesome but... manageable

So, sem started couple of days ago. And as usual, all students in the Arts faculty are being bombarded with unit guides and unit readers. They are something which I have learnt to be friends with, although I may actually hate MOST of the journal articles/ scholarly material in there.

Well, Authorship lecture had this sombre cum creepy mood, especially after the lecturer said that it was very very very very very very very very very very very abstract besides being the hardest unit for mass comm/writing students...  Yes, I am hoping I will PASS. I've seen some whom I have known come back again this sem with the sad look on their faces. :(

Which means I better be well on Wednesdays
Which means no randomly skipping classes on that day because my tute so happens to be right after the lecture

At least, Aussie didn't change the assignment question. Thank God.

Suffocating bits aside, I sat beside this Australian girl in Authorship today. Because all the other seats were taken up except the back row. As usual, I was having reservations towards her, but then, I thought... MAYBE SHE's not that bad a person.... WHY NOT BE THE CONVERSATION STARTER?

Oh yeah, I finally talked to her! I'm so happy! LOL!  She asked me why was I doing this subject, and I said: because it's compulsory for my major. Found out that she was majoring in ENGLISH!

UGH! Imagine my reaction when she told me that. Then, I told her that there's no English major over here. So, closest to English was COMM or Writing. Even then, I did not like the other units in the Writing major so I told myself to minor in it instead. Heh, complicated, I know!.

If only they offered English over here! I could do some MORE EXCITING electives instead of what? TV/FILM or even globalization.... Like, how many times you want me to do that?

Also found out that she was from Clayton. The main, gigantic campus in Aussie. I'm sure she's saying... a lot of things which she doesn't have to tell me because a lot of Aussies, when they go back, cheh, so small only M'sian campus. lol.

Oh, we share the same tute for Authorship! :)

Enough of her, tomorrow I'd be on campus for almost 10 hrs thanks (no thanks) to the 5-6-hour gap between classes.

Decided to come up with a list of things I could do

1. Sleep!
2. Assignment(s)
3. Logic games!
4. Online on laptop!
5. Read the books I bght with the vouchers!
6. Write songs/ stories (Ya, right!)
7. Go to student centre (and ask them to change the song they're playing - in case it's METAL/ROCK)
8. Do my readings (meh)
9. Eat! Eat! Eat!
10. SMS
11. Play with tablet
12. Find my lecturers and talk to them (if they're around)

12 weeks of this! OMG!

I hope I'll pull through 3rd year just like any other year
